countryside. Extensive gardens
provide seclusion
plus areas of fun & play. You can enjoy walks & bird watching direct
from your door.
We can help you have a relaxing yet energising
holiday, from yoga or a
Spa day to
exciting outdoor adventure
activities. There is
abundant wildlife to watch and enjoy, both locally and in the vast,
yet accessible, wilderness of the high Pyrenees mountains. An English
International Mountain
Leader can help you explore the high peaks. If you are
seeking some rest and to 'get away from it all', then you can just sit back,
and enjoy the peace and beauty of
the Ariege.
Our accommodation is all newly renovated to a high standard providing a
spacious, airy two bedroom
gite that can sleep 6 plus 2 rooms for B&B with a separate guest lounge. All our accommodation benefits from
central heating, free Wi-Fi and satellite television.
Our holiday accommodation can be rented as one
large gite which can sleep 10, perfect for 2 families.
Guests have their own seating, BBQ and parking area plus access to a shared
above ground pool.
We have our own friendly farm animals in the fields next to
Pechine.
We grow our own organic vegetables and salad which we provide with our 3
course local cuisine evening meals. Our chickens can provide eggs on
request. We have 2 children, so Pechine is well equipped for the
little ones, though there is enough space for you to find your own piece of
tranquillity.
We are close to shops, fresh bread and pastries,
pizza, local cuisine restaurants and a quality Vietnamese (to eat in or
takeaway) are all less than 10 minutes. There are some excellent farmers' markets
within our area, offering organic produce and well priced unique
art of the Midi Pyrenees region
. Recommended
restaurants are within a few minutes drive. Locally you can
also visit
fortified medieval villages, swimming lakes, a giant cave, animals
parks and
an excellent tree climbing adventure park. Cosmopolitan Toulouse is less than an hour away, as are the
high Pyrenees
